Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Doha to pay his respects and offer condolences following the passing of Qatar’s former Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
“Elchi” reports that this information was provided by Iran’s “Tasnim” agency.
According to the report, the head of Iran’s foreign policy department will pay his respects to the late monarch. A national period of mourning has been declared in Qatar due to the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. The country’s current Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, is receiving condolences from foreign heads of state and government, as well as high-ranking officials arriving in Doha.
