A series of events have been held by the relevant bodies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to raise public awareness about behavioral rules in emergency situations.
According to the information provided by the Ministry to elchi, with the participation of specialists from the State Fire Control Service, the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Water Rescue of the MES, the Ganja Regional Center (RC) held awareness events at Ganja city kindergarten No. 3; the North-West RC held events at the Heydar Aliyev centers in Zagatala and Balakan districts; the Mugan RC held an event at the Shirvan Regional Advertising Department; the Aran RC held events at the Naftalan City Central Hospital and the Ucar District Railway Station; and the Sumgayit RC held awareness events at the Sumgayit City Dental Polyclinic, Sumgayit city kindergartens No. 48, 54, and 69, the Absheron District Central Library, and among the staff and vacationers in forest areas and recreation zones located in the Absheron district.
The purpose of holding these events was to provide citizens with the necessary knowledge regarding behavioral rules in the event of potential natural and man-made emergencies.
During the events, detailed information was provided on the classification of emergencies, emergencies characteristic of our country, including necessary behavioral rules related to fires and earthquakes; the purpose of the MES “112” hotline was explained, and the rules for using primary fire extinguishing equipment were demonstrated.
Questions were answered in detail during the interactive events.
