elchi reports that the President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini, stated this in a joint press statement with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, in Shusha.
“Allow me, on behalf of our delegation, to express my deep gratitude for the warm welcome extended to us, as well as for your initiative to hold this official visit to Azerbaijan right here – in Karabakh, in the city of Shusha.
During our personal meetings in the past, we have discussed Karabakh and its future development many times. Therefore, it is a great honor for me today, together with my colleagues in the delegation, to see with our own eyes the great progress achieved in the development of this territory.
I would like to express my deep respect and admiration for the magnificent construction work carried out in this area in just a few years since liberation. At the same time, we feel great satisfaction and pride that Slovak companies are also participating in this new development stage of Karabakh. I am sure that they will continue to actively participate in interesting projects to be implemented in Karabakh in the future,” the Slovak President noted.
