The process of transfer and reinstatement of students in vocational education for the first semester of the 2026-2027 academic year has started.

It was stated that those who wish to apply can select the “Transfer and reinstatement of students” service after logging into their personal cabinet on the “portal.edu.az” platform. The deadline for applications is September 10, at 18:00.
“Persons changing their educational institution or specialty, and those being reinstated to an educational institution (excluding those changing institutions within the same specialty, those changing specialties when the previously studied specialty is no longer offered at the institution upon returning from academic leave, and those being reinstated to an educational institution after discharge from active military service who are studying at the state’s expense) continue their education only on a paid basis. Students at the initial vocational education level are not permitted to change their educational institution or specialty. Students at the technical vocational education level who have not completed the first year of the academic year are not permitted to change their educational institution or specialty.
In vocational education institutions, the change of specialty and reinstatement of students are carried out within the same specialty group as determined by the “Classification of Specialties for Vocational Education” approved by the Decision No. 178 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 31, 2011.
Applicants can obtain information about their results from their personal cabinet within 15 days after the application period ends,” the statement noted.
