At least 15 people have died after a tourist excursion boat capsized near Phu Quoc Island in southern Vietnam.

According to the report, the speedboat, which was carrying 32 tourists and 4 crew members, capsized due to a sudden malfunction approximately 400 meters from Hon May Rut Ngoai island. As a result, all passengers and crew members on board fell into the sea.
During the rescue operation, 21 people were saved. A total of 15 people, including two women and 13 men, died in the accident.
The survivors have been taken to hospitals for emergency medical treatment. The causes of the incident are being investigated.
