In Azerbaijan, 89 children have been adopted during the elapsed period of 2026.
“Elchi” reports that the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has released information regarding this.
It was noted that 45 of them are girls and 44 are boys.
To study the situation of children in the families where they were adopted, monitoring is carried out until they reach the age of 18: quarterly in the first year of adoption, and once a year in subsequent years.
It should also be noted that persons who adopt children deprived of parental care are provided with monthly social benefits (240 manats for each child aged 3-18, 600 manats for each child with a disability). They also have a number of benefits in the fields of social security, labor, and tax relations.
