The State Examination Center (SEC) will hold entrance exams for higher education institutions for the I and IV specialty groups on July 12. On the same day, an exam in Geography will also be held for those who have chosen both the DT and TC subgroups of the III group.
The SEC informed elchi that the exams will be organized in Baku, Khankendi, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Shamkir, Agstafa, Gazakh, Sumgayit, Absheron, Shamakhi, Mingachevir, Sheki, Zagatala, Barda, Goychay, Ujar, Kurdamir, Shirvan, Sabirabad, Salyan, Lankaran, Jalilabad, Guba, and Khachmaz.
Participants have been able to print their exam admission tickets from the SEC website since July 2. The admission ticket contains information such as the city (district), building, hall, start time of the exam, and the time the applicant should arrive at the exam building.
The exam starts at 10:00. The admission process ends at 09:45, and participants arriving after this time will not be allowed into the exam building.
To ensure that participants enter the exam building comfortably, different arrival times have been set for the building, and this time is indicated on the participant’s admission ticket. Therefore, it is recommended to arrive at the exam building at the time specified on the admission ticket.
Applicants must bring the following documents to the exam:
– Exam admission ticket;
– Original identity document.
a) Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan (including participants under 16 years of age) must bring their ID card;
b) Foreigners and stateless persons must bring their residence permits issued by the State Migration Service, and foreign citizens who have received refugee status and their family members must bring their refugee cards;
– Participants whose ID card does not have a photo must bring, along with other documents, a certificate issued by the educational institution with a photo attached (a 3×4 cm photo of the participant is attached to the certificate and stamped).
A total of 153 exam buildings and 2,658 exam halls have been allocated in the cities and districts where the exam will be held. 153 general exam supervisors, 429 exam supervisors, 3,304 invigilators, 482 admission staff, and 153 building representatives have been involved in managing the exams.
It is expected that a total of 36,356 applicants will participate in the exam, including 24,997 for the I specialty group, 5,302 for the IV specialty group, and 6,057 for the Geography exam for those who chose both the DT and TC subgroups of the III specialty group.
65 applicants with disabilities (visually impaired, cerebral palsy, hearing impaired, etc.) will also participate in the exam. Special halls have been allocated in the exam buildings for their comfort, and individual invigilators have been assigned to persons with visual impairments due to 81-100 percent impairment of body functions. Conditions have also been created for applicants with limited mobility to enter and move within the building and hall. In addition, special training has been conducted for the invigilators assigned to participants with disabilities.
Currently, training seminars are being held with other invigilators, exam supervisors, and security personnel who will participate in the exams in the mentioned cities and districts. All exam buildings are being inspected, and necessary conditions are being created in the exam halls for applicants to take the exam comfortably. In order to ensure security, the exam centers will be re-inspected on July 11, and the exam halls, entrances, and exits will be sealed and handed over to the protection of the Main Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
