The “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about a fire in a building on Ajami Nakhchivani Street, Binagadi district, Baku.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the press service of the agency.
In connection with the information, the forces of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately involved in the area.
Thanks to the necessary and urgent measures taken by the firefighters, the fire that occurred in a single-story wooden structure under a common roof with a total area of 700 sq.m., where several families lived, was extinguished in a short time without allowing it to spread.
As a result of the fire, the combustible structures of the building made of wooden structures where several families lived under one roof burned in an area of 150 sq.m., and the structures of the adjacent garage with a total area of 100 sq.m. burned in an area of 10 sq.m. During the inspection of the fire site, the body of Tapdıqov Fərid Əliyar oğlu, born in 1990, was discovered.
The rest of the building was protected from fire.
The relevant authorities are investigating the incident.
