EASA recommends airlines to avoid the airspace of Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) recommends that airlines avoid operating flights in the airspace of Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East and the potential for future military operations.

“Elchi” reports that “The Times of Israel” provided this information, citing EASA.

This recommendation is in effect until August 31.

The agency stated that it has withdrawn a previous bulletin that called on airlines to exercise caution when flying through the airspace of Bahrain, Kuwait, Israel, Jordan, Qatar, Oman, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. It is not yet known whether EASA will issue a new advisory bulletin regarding these countries.
