The Ministry of Defense (MoD) of Turkey has shared a post regarding the Turkish Armed Forces ahead of the NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government to be held in Ankara.
elchi reports that the ministry’s “X” social media account stated that the Turkish Armed Forces are the second-largest army in NATO and one of the most effective and deterrent military forces in the world.
It was noted that the Turkish Armed Forces play a crucial role in ensuring the country’s defense and security with their rich history, high combat readiness, and modern capabilities:
“The TAF is considered not only a guarantor of Turkey’s security but also one of the guarantors of regional and global security.”
