Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade to attend the 1st International Islamic Forum

Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade will pay a visit to Uzbekistan on July 6.

According to the information, the purpose of the visit is to participate in the 1st International Islamic Forum on “Islamic Civilization: A Path of Peace, Tolerance, and Enlightenment,” which will be held in the cities of Tashkent and Samarkand, Uzbekistan, from July 7 to 11, co-organized by ICESCO and the Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan.

The visit, taking place at the invitation of ICESCO Director-General Salim M. Al-Malik and Director of the Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan Firdavs Abdukhalikov, includes a series of events.

The visit program includes the Forum at the Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan, which is one of the largest humanitarian and cultural-educational projects implemented in the 21st century, the opening of the new Imam al-Bukhari Memorial Complex in Samarkand, familiarization with the International Research Centers named after Imam al-Bukhari, Imam at-Tirmidhi, and Imam al-Maturidi, as well as 3 international conferences dedicated to the spiritual, scientific, and intellectual heritage of these figures and other events.

The International Islamic Forum is intended as a new international humanitarian platform of the Islamic world for the 21st century, aimed at strengthening the culture of peace, mutual respect, inter-civilizational dialogue, and international humanitarian cooperation. At the event, leading religious scholars, academics, representatives of international organizations, museums, libraries, research centers, universities, government bodies, and large-scale humanitarian institutions of the Islamic world will discuss the outstanding contributions of Islamic civilization to global intellectual, scientific, and cultural heritage, as well as its role in the development of science, philosophy, education, art, spirituality, and humanitarian thought.
