A total of 16,265 plan places have been allocated for the admission of students to the bachelor’s level of higher education institutions for the 2026–2027 academic year under state order for the I specialty group.
“Elchi” reports that this information was reflected in the 4th issue of the “Abituriyent” magazine.
It was noted that for the I specialty group, applicants with a total score of no less than 200 and a score of no less than 100 in the second stage will be allowed to participate in the competition for both state-funded and paid education. For mathematics, physics, and computer science specialties, applicants with a total score of no less than 250 and a score of no less than 100 in the second stage will be allowed to participate in the competition. Applicants with a relative score of no less than 40 in the first stage of the exam will be allowed to participate in specialties taught in English at state higher education institutions (excluding ADA University, Baku Higher Oil School, Sumgayit State University, and Mingachevir State University).
For paid places in specialties such as land reclamation engineering, technology teaching, environmental engineering, computer engineering, food engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, information technology, logistics and transport technology engineering, and radio engineering and telecommunications engineering, applicants with a total score of no less than 150 and a score of no less than 50 in the second stage will be allowed to participate in the competition. For agroengineering, agronomy, fisheries, forestry, winemaking, soil science and agrochemistry, land management and real estate cadastre, and zooengineering specialties, applicants with a total score of no less than 150 and a score of no less than 50 in the second stage can participate in the admission competition for both state-funded and paid bases.
It should be noted that the selection of specialties will be carried out via the internet from August 12 to 19.
