“Non-oil sector will develop thanks to the work being done” – Gudrat Hasanguliyev

Chairman of the Justice, Law, Democracy (AHD) Party, Member of Parliament Gudrat Hasanguliyev has made a statement to the party’s press service.

Xalqcəbhəsi.az presents the statement:

– Mr. Gudrat, the first meeting of the Digital Development Council was held on June 29 under the chairmanship of the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. You have likely followed it. We would like to know your thoughts on the work being done in this direction in our country and your expectations…

– The tasks assigned to the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to date have been carried out with great skill and at a high level. I believe it will be the same this time. Accelerating digital development plays an important role in economic growth, increasing transparency in the public service sector, easing people’s lives by minimizing subjective assessment through the use of artificial intelligence, and fighting corruption. Work in this direction is being accelerated, and legislation is being improved. Thanks to the work being done, investment in the country will increase, and the non-oil sector will develop. I think the successes achieved in this direction must be protected by a strong judicial power. By creating new production and processing enterprises and producing competitive products, we can achieve the growth of our economy. By using technology driven by artificial intelligence, we can develop agriculture, lower the cost of produced goods, and make them competitive. Digital development will necessitate the expansion of reforms in all areas of the economy and our lives. I believe that the Digital Development Council will properly fulfill the tasks set in accordance with the 2026-2028 Action Plan, and Azerbaijan will once again become the leading state in the region in terms of economic growth rate.
