The Ministry of Emergency Situations’ “112” hotline received information about a fire in an open area on Babek Avenue, Nizami district, Baku.
According to the information provided to elchi by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the forces of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Thanks to the prompt intervention of the firefighters, the fire in the open area was extinguished in a short time, preventing it from spreading to the surrounding areas.
As a result of the fire, 2 hectares of bushes and wooden waste were burned.
Surrounding areas, including a wooded area, were protected from the fire.
