A new public beach has been opened for residents in Hovsan on the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva

On the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, a new exemplary public beach created in the Hovsan settlement of the Surakhani district has been opened for residents.

This was reported to “Elchi” by the IDEA Public Union.

It was noted that the free recreation area, covering approximately 5 hectares, is the seventh exemplary public beach created by the IDEA Public Union.

For the comfortable and safe recreation of residents, rescue stations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, sunshades, changing rooms and shower cabins, sanitary facilities, gazebos, sun loungers, and waste containers have been installed in the beach areas, and playgrounds have been set up and are fully ready for use.

To ensure accessibility for persons with disabilities, special paths and ramps have been built to allow people with limited mobility to reach the water and beach facilities without obstacles, and the parking lot closest to the beach area has been designated with special markings for persons with disabilities.

Access to the beach area and all facilities created are intended for completely free use. IDEA’s exemplary public beaches are aimed at promoting ecological and social responsibility in society.

It should be noted that on the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, neglected coastal areas in the capital’s Shikh, Goradil, Novkhani, Buzovna, Pirshaghi, and Sahil settlements were previously improved to create exemplary public beaches. With the new beach opened in the Hovsan settlement, their number has reached seven.

Wishing everyone a pleasant rest during the beach season, the IDEA Public Union calls on everyone to pay attention to the cleanliness of the shores, not to pollute the environment, to follow water safety rules, and to be careful during recreation in order to always enjoy the beauty gifted by nature and the conditions created.
