The next board meeting of the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been held.
elchi reports that this was announced at the meeting held under the chairmanship of Vugar Gulmammadov, Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts.
The meeting was also attended by Azer Amiraslanov, Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Tahir Rzayev, Chairman of the Agrarian Policy Committee, Samir Valiyev, Member of the Milli Majlis, Zafar Gurbanov, Rector of the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University, and heads of structural divisions of the Ministry of Agriculture.
During the board meeting, the “Auditor’s Report on the results of the audit of the activities of the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University,” presented by auditor Vafa Mutallimova, was discussed. Within the framework of the report presentation, employees of the Efficiency Audit Department made a presentation on the main results and identified shortcomings regarding the subjects covered by the audit. During the discussions, members of the Milli Majlis expressed a number of opinions and put forward proposals regarding the results of the audit.
The Rector of the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University, who spoke at the meeting, emphasized that the results of the audit would contribute to the improvement of activities in the relevant field and noted that the proposals and recommendations put forward would be taken into account.
At the conclusion of the discussions, a decision was made to approve the auditor’s report and for the audited entity to take the necessary measures to eliminate the identified shortcomings.
