The opening ceremony of the newly reconstructed and renovated administrative building of the Baku Military Prosecutor’s Office has been held.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Prosecutor General’s Office, the event was attended by Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev, as well as the leadership of the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Military Prosecutor’s Office, other officials, and media representatives.
First, the participants of the ceremony visited the bust of the national leader Heydar Aliyev located in the lobby of the building.
It was reported that the administrative building, where the prosecutor’s offices have operated for many years, has been completely renovated and rebuilt in accordance with modern standards. Within the framework of the reconstruction work, the building has been fully updated to organize the activities of prosecutor’s office employees more efficiently, increase the operational speed of work processes, and improve the quality of legal services provided to citizens. The building features service offices equipped with necessary technical equipment for the comfortable and functional work of employees, a citizen reception department, and assembly and meeting halls. At the same time, the building has been modernized in accordance with the latest requirements regarding energy efficiency and security.
It was noted that the “Electronic Prosecutor’s Office” information system has been fully implemented in the administrative building. Through this system, document circulation is carried out digitally, further increasing the flexibility and transparency of operations.
After familiarizing themselves with the administrative building, a meeting was held in the assembly hall.
Delivering the opening speech, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev stated that the commissioning of the administrative building of the Baku Military Prosecutor’s Office is of special significance as it coincides with the next anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. He noted that the military prosecutor’s offices have contributed to strengthening the state’s defense capabilities by carrying out important work in the direction of strengthening legality, rule of law, and military discipline in close cooperation with the Armed Forces.
Prosecutor General emphasized that the formation of a modern and flexible prosecutor’s office system is one of the main priorities of Azerbaijan’s legal state-building policy, and the reforms implemented in this direction are being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, based on the statehood strategy defined by national leader Heydar Aliyev. He noted that strengthening the material and technical support of the prosecutor’s office and expanding digital management capabilities are important directions of the institutional reforms being carried out in the law enforcement system. It was stated that the new administrative building will make a significant contribution to increasing the flexibility of work processes, more promptly addressing citizen appeals, and improving the quality of service.
Subsequently, the head of the Binagadi District Executive Power of Baku, Elkhan Allahverdiyev, Deputy Prosecutor General – Military Prosecutor of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Bahruz Ahmadov, and Baku Military Prosecutor, Farid Shukurov, noted the contributions of the institutional reforms carried out by the state and the modern working environment created to improve the activities of law enforcement agencies. It was stated that the new administrative building creates favorable conditions for the more prompt and effective execution of the tasks at hand. In the speeches, gratitude was expressed to the country’s leadership for the conditions created.
Concluding the event, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev stated that the modern working conditions created will serve to ensure that military prosecutor’s office employees perform their duties with higher responsibility and professionalism. He expressed his confidence that the military prosecutor’s offices will continue to successfully carry out their activities in the direction of ensuring legality, strengthening military discipline, and reliably protecting state interests in the Armed Forces.
