In October of this year, the city of Khankendi is scheduled to host an international conference titled “SocGov2026: Digital Analysis for Smart Governance”.

It was stated that the event, organized by the DOST Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, is intended as a platform for international discussion and cooperation in the fields of social governance, digital transformation, and innovative solutions. The goal is to strengthen global cooperation and experience exchange in the social sphere, promote innovative technological solutions, and contribute to the strengthening of inclusive values.
It was noted that topics such as digital analysis, artificial intelligence, ethical governance, and data-driven decision-making will be discussed at the event. The conference is expected to be attended by representatives from various countries, international organizations, parties operating in the field of innovation and technology, as well as experts and researchers. Within the framework of the event, a competition will be held in the categories of “AI-based digital solutions in the social sphere”, “Social volunteering and civic initiatives”, “Scientific contribution to social development”, and “Regional social initiative”. Additionally, individual awards will be presented in the categories of “Young social innovator of the year”, “Social transformation leader/initiator”, and “For sustainable contribution to the development of the social sphere”.

It should be recalled that the first international conference under the SocGov (social governance) brand was held last year in Baku with the participation of up to 450 people from international organizations and nearly 20 countries.
