In January-May of this year, the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population paid 937 million manats in allowances and monthly presidential pensions to 1 million 21 thousand people.

It was stated that 529 million manats were paid to 505 thousand people as allowances from the state budget, 339 million manats to 407 thousand people as presidential pensions, and 69 million manats to 109 thousand people as social insurance allowances.
“The paid funds were 15 percent higher for allowances from the state budget and 17 percent higher for pensions compared to the same period last year. In January-May, another 64 thousand, and since 2019, when the electronic assignment of social payments began, 944 thousand allowances and pensions were assigned proactively through the e-system,” the report noted.
