The potential opponents of Turkish Cup winner Trabzonspor in the UEFA Europa League have been determined.
“Elchi” reports that the “bordo-mavilər” will join the tournament from the play-off round.
Trabzonspor will know its opponent after the draw to be held on August 3. If the Turkish representative passes this stage, it will compete in the league phase of the Europa League. If the team is defeated in the play-offs, it will continue its struggle in the league phase of the UEFA Conference League.
The 14 potential opponents of the Black Sea representative in the Europa League are as follows: Braga (Portugal), Rangers (Scotland), Ferencváros (Hungary), Viktoria Plzeň (Czech Republic), Midtjylland (Denmark), PAOK (Greece), Salzburg (Austria), Shamrock Rovers (Ireland), KuPS Kuopio (Finland), Hapoel Be’er Sheva (Israel), Drita (Kosovo), Lincoln Red Imps (Gibraltar), Borac Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and Sint-Truiden (Belgium).
After Trabzonspor’s cup victory, the stage at which Beşiktaş will start in the European cups has also been clarified. The Istanbul representative will start the UEFA Europa League from the second qualifying round.
Among Beşiktaş’s potential opponents are Braga, Olympiacos, Copenhagen, Ferencváros, Viktoria Plzeň, Qarabag, Maccabi, Anderlecht, Pafos, Rangers, Celtic, and Midtjylland.
