The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia, Faig Guliyev, has met with the Head of the State Security Service (SSS) of this country, Geka Geladze.
“Elchi” reports that the State Security Service of Georgia released information about this.
According to the information, the parties discussed the existing strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia and the main directions of cooperation in the field of security.
During the meeting, the existing challenges in the region and issues of ensuring security were also touched upon.
Geka Geladze emphasized the importance of the strong cooperation existing between the security services of the two countries and expressed his readiness to further deepen this partnership.
Faig Guliyev congratulated the Head of the State Security Service on his new appointment and wished him success in his activities.
It should be noted that Geka Geladze was appointed to the position of Head of the State Security Service of Georgia in April of the current year. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia from May 28, 2025.
