Terrifying moments occurred at an air show held in the US state of Idaho. As a result of a mid-air collision between two US Navy military aircraft, all 4 crew members miraculously survived by using their ejection seats.
“Elchi” reports that the incident took place during an air show at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. According to the information obtained, the two naval aircraft collided in the air for reasons yet to be determined while performing a demonstration flight.
Immediately after the collision, all 4 military personnel on board activated their ejection seats within seconds and ejected from the aircraft. Officials stated that all crew members were able to land safely. Amelia Umayam, a spokesperson for the US Pacific Fleet Naval Air Forces, shared details in an official statement regarding the accident. Umayam confirmed that the colliding aircraft were EA-18G Growler fighter jets belonging to the Electronic Attack Squadron 129 based at Whidbey Island, Washington. The spokesperson stated that the aircraft were performing a scheduled air demonstration at the time of the accident.
