The Ukrainian ambassador to Ankara, Nariman Dzhelyal, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the attack on a Turkish ship in the Black Sea and the tugboat sent to tow it.

“Elchi” reports this citing TRT Haber.

It was noted that on August 26, a ship belonging to a Turkish company was hit off the coast of Tuapse in the Black Sea. On August 27, another vessel sent to assist the ship was also targeted.

“During the meeting, Turkey’s protest regarding the mentioned attacks was conveyed to the Ukrainian side. Necessary warnings were issued regarding the necessity of ensuring the safety of life and property, as well as the safety of navigation and the environment in the Black Sea,” a source in the Turkish MFA noted.
