The entire Turkic world must act from a unified platform against biased campaigns directed at Azerbaijan.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated today by Professor Aygün Attar, Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Turkey-Azerbaijan Friendship, Cooperation and Solidarity Foundation, at the II Solidarity Forum of NGOs of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Baku.
Stating that international law is undergoing a chaotic transformation in the modern world and that institutions operating under the guise of human rights are demonstrating double standards, A. Attar criticized the biased stance of European institutions against Azerbaijan:
“I say this as a child of a family that became internally displaced. If international law had truly prevailed, Europe, which did not issue a single fair decision during the 30-year occupation of Azerbaijani lands, would not have adopted 14 biased decisions against our country today. It is not just us, but the entire Turkic geography that must act together against these biased campaigns.”
