A massive fire has broken out at a gas processing facility of the state-owned oil company PDVSA in Venezuela.

The facility is located on Lake Maracaibo. According to the information, workers attempted to extinguish the fire, resulting in at least two workers being injured, while others jumped into the water.
PDVSA was established in 1976. It is the country’s largest company, fully owned by the Venezuelan government, which holds a monopoly on oil and gas production, exploration, refining, and export.
