The first General Assembly of the Global South NGO Platform (GSNP) is being held at the Gulustan Palace within the framework of “Baku Urban Planning Week”.
“Elchi” reports that NGO representatives from more than 110 countries, covering regions of Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific basin, where 80% of the world’s population lives, are participating in the event.
The General Assembly will continue throughout the day with various panels.
At the first General Assembly of the GSNP, a Secretary General who will lead the organization for 5 years and 4 deputies for the regions covering Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific basin will be elected.
