A training on “Behavioral rules and evacuation during emergency situations” was held at the Baku European Lyceum, located in the Khatai district of Baku, organized by the State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and with the participation of the State Fire Protection Service.
According to the information provided to elchi by the MES, the purpose of the training, which involved the relevant personnel and equipment of the Ministry’s State Fire Protection Service, was to instill behavioral rules during emergency situations, including fires, in the staff of the educational institution.
Within the framework of the theoretical part of the training, MES employees provided detailed information to the lyceum staff about necessary behavioral rules and evacuation measures during emergency situations, including fires; video clips were shown, the rules for using primary fire extinguishing equipment were demonstrated visually, and questions were answered.
In the practical part, after the “Alarm” signal was given during a simulated fire, the evacuation of students and teachers to a safe place was carried out in accordance with the lyceum’s evacuation plan. Firefighters began “firefighting” measures, conducted rapid reconnaissance, and performed “fire extinguishing” and “rescue” operations.
The training ended successfully, and the set goals were achieved.
