The Ministry of Emergency Situations has held a competition on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
According to the information provided by the Ministry to “Elchi”, the event, organized jointly by the State Fire Protection Service (SFPS) and the Trade Union of MES employees on May 7, was attended by Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Major General of Internal Service Yusif Nabiyev, Head of the SFPS, Major General of Internal Service Asif Mammadli, and Chairman of the MES Employees’ Trade Union Mehman Ismayilov.
The purpose of the competition was to further increase the combat and tactical readiness level of the employees and to improve their professional skills.
According to the results of the final competition, which was judged by employees of the Organization of Service and Professional Training Department of the SFPS and held in an atmosphere of intense competition, the Binagadi District State Fire Protection Unit took 1st place in the “Best Squad” review-competition. The 2nd and 3rd places were shared by the Sumgayit City State Fire Protection Department and the Hajigabul District State Fire Protection Unit, respectively.
At the award ceremony of the final competition, which began with the playing of the National Anthem, the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was first commemorated with a minute of silence.
Speakers at the event spoke about the unparalleled services of the Great Leader to the Azerbaijani people.
Then, diplomas, cups, and valuable gifts were presented to the winners. The award ceremony continued with an artistic part.
