Trump’s mental and physical health is declining

US President Donald Trump’s visit to a local dentist in Florida last weekend has reignited discussions about his health. Despite the presence of a fully equipped dental clinic at the White House, Trump’s choice to see his doctor in Florida has raised questions among the public.
elchi reports that a new poll conducted by The Washington Post, ABC News, and Ipsos revealed that 59% of Americans believe Trump does not possess the mental sharpness required to be president.
55% of participants stated that Trump’s physical health is insufficient for this position. In a poll conducted last autumn, the percentage of those who thought Trump’s physical health was inadequate was 45%.
Chronic health problems and medical choices under discussion
Claims regarding the health of Trump, who will turn 80 next month, were not limited to just a dental check-up.
In photos taken during his trip to Florida over the weekend, there was swelling in Trump’s ankles. Experts have stated that this condition is caused by blood pooling in the legs as a result of “chronic venous insufficiency,” which was diagnosed in July of last year. Trump’s medical habits have also been closely scrutinized. According to reports, the president takes 325 milligrams of aspirin daily, which is four times the amount recommended by his doctor. Trump defended this choice by saying he “does not want his blood to thicken.” Additionally, while it is claimed that the bruises on his hands are a side effect of this high-dose aspirin use, the White House had previously attributed them to “strong handshakes.”
