MES Southern Regional Center held a civil defense exercise – PHOTO

The Southern Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held a civil defense exercise on warning and assembly with the non-militarized territorial civil defense units of the Jalilabad district.

According to the information provided by the Ministry to elchi, the event, held under the theme “Activities of non-militarized territorial civil defense units upon a warning assembly signal during emergency situations,” was attended by relevant structural divisions of the Southern Regional Center, responsible officials from the Jalilabad District Executive Power’s Civil Defense Headquarters and the Emergency Situations Commission, as well as personnel of the territorial civil defense forces.

The purpose of the exercise was to check the readiness level of territorial civil defense forces for operative response to emergency situations, to coordinate joint activities in crisis situations, to improve the knowledge and skills of the command staff in management, and to instill practical habits in personnel regarding warning assembly.

During the event, the activities of the non-militarized territorial civil defense units regarding notification of an emergency, mobilization upon a warning assembly signal, marching to the assembly point, and organization of assembly and management were checked, and reports on functional duties were heard.

After the successfully conducted exercise, the results were discussed, and relevant instructions were given accordingly.
