The Southern Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held a training exercise on the topic “Organization of activities during search and rescue operations in areas with complex terrain”.
This was reported to elchi by the press service of the MES.
It was stated that the purpose of the training was to increase the knowledge and skills of rescuers in the rules of organizing and conducting rescue operations, including the rescue of victims left helpless in mountainous-forested areas, as well as to improve the effective management skills of rescue team commanders during an incident.
During the training, rescuers “rescued” a citizen who was hypothetically injured and left helpless in a forest area using special rescue equipment and evacuated them to a safe area.
In the end, the results of the training were analyzed and relevant tasks were assigned.
