New candidates for membership in the Central Election Commission (CEC) from parties with a minority of deputies in the Milli Majlis have been determined.
“Elchi” reports, citing APA, that the members of the CEC from the minority parties in parliament will not change.
Thus, the candidates for CEC membership from the minority parties are as follows:
Great Order Party (BQP) – Bəxşeyiş Əsgərov
Motherland Party (AVP) – Etibar Quliyev

It should be noted that the current composition of the CEC was formed at the meeting of the Milli Majlis held on April 27, 2021. According to the legislation, since the term of office of the CEC is 5 years, it must be re-formed.
