A telephone conversation took place between Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to “Elchi”, the ministers exchanged views on the military escalation and increasing tensions observed in the Middle East region.
Emphasizing the impact of the current situation on regional and global security, the importance of adhering to humanitarian law, protecting civilians and civilian objects, and resolving issues based on international law norms and principles, through dialogue and diplomatic means, was noted.
The Pakistani side also provided information about the current situation regarding the clashes that occurred on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
During the telephone conversation, the current state and future development prospects of the strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan were also discussed.
