Tramp eyes that country: It could become the 51st US state

US President Donald Trump has stated that they have “great” relations with Venezuela and import a significant amount of oil from this country, suggesting that Venezuela could one day become the “51st state” of the US.
elchi reports that President Trump, speaking at a campaign rally in Texas on the eve of the midterm congressional elections to be held on November 3, touched upon his foreign policy agenda.
Trump noted that the US maintains “great” relations with Venezuela and purchases a large amount of oil from this country, adding that several American oil companies have made significant investments there.
Expressing his belief that Venezuela will soon become a prosperous country, Trump said: “Perhaps in the near future, this will be our 51st state. It’s possible – let’s make it happen, let’s make it our 51st state. Instead of electing a president, let’s elect a governor.”
The war with Iran will end soon
Claiming that the conflict with Iran was initiated by Iran in 1978, not by the US, Trump stated that Iranian authorities are responsible for the deaths of many American soldiers.
The US President emphasized that high oil and fuel prices are a “very small price to pay” in exchange for preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, saying: “This war will end soon; they have no army, no navy, no anything left.”
Trump promised that fuel prices in the US would soon drop sharply and added that he does not expect his policy regarding Iran to negatively affect the congressional elections.
Trump recalled: “Yesterday someone asked me: ‘If you had to do it all over again, would you still attack Iran?'” He replied: “Of course; it was one of the best things I’ve ever done.”
