On October 18, a solemn event was held to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Special School of the State Border Service.
elchi reports that the event, which began with the performance of the State Anthem, included a minute of silence in memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country.
It was emphasized that the coincidence of the anniversary ceremony with the Day of Restoration of Independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan carries special symbolic meaning, and it was stated that protecting and strengthening our state independence and ensuring the inviolability of our borders is the highest duty and a matter of honor for every border guard.
In the speeches, it was noted that as a result of the high attention and care shown by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, towards strengthening the personnel potential of the border protection bodies, an excellent military education system has been formed in the State Border Service. It was highlighted that the launch of the Special School is of particular importance in ensuring the continuity of military education and in training national border guard personnel with high intellectual potential, strong military discipline, and a spirit of patriotism.
At the event, the exceptional services of the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, in the creation, formation, and development of the Special School were noted with special gratitude.
It was stated that the Special School, thoroughly reconstructed and equipped with modern educational equipment with the initiative and support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, was personally inaugurated by Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva. Her continuous attention and care for the school’s activities over the past 15 years, and the conditions created for the cadets to receive a high-level education and to develop as individuals with strong moral and physical qualities, loyal to the Motherland and the state, have played a significant role in the development of the educational institution.
It was announced at the event that in accordance with the relevant instructions of the Head of the State Border Service, Colonel-General Elchin Guliyev, consistent measures are being implemented to improve the knowledge and skills of the cadets, and to train them based on military discipline and high moral qualities. The congratulatory telegram from the Head of the State Border Service was conveyed to the personnel.
It was noted that over the past period, the Special School has become one of the prestigious educational institutions of our country, and comprehensive conditions have been created here for the all-round development of cadets, for them to acquire high knowledge in general education subjects, initial military training skills, and to strengthen their physical and moral-psychological preparedness.
At the end of the event, commemorative photos were taken with the staff of the Special School.
