In order to prevent the spread of flu and other respiratory infections among the population, as well as to strengthen preventive measures, the Ministry of Health has brought vaccines against flu to the country this year.

According to the information, based on the order of the Minister of Health “On strengthening anti-epidemic measures against acute respiratory diseases in the republic in the autumn-winter season of 2026-2027 and conducting a vaccination campaign against flu”, vaccination against seasonal flu is planned to start on October 21, 2026.
“Vaccination against flu is recommended for individuals in higher risk groups for complications of flu infection, especially healthcare workers, pregnant women, as well as individuals over 6 months of age with chronic respiratory system diseases.
Vaccination against seasonal flu is one of the main preventive measures to protect against the disease and prevent its possible complications.
The Ministry of Health calls on the population to adhere to preventive measures against seasonal flu, including active participation in the vaccination process. Vaccination against flu is carried out free of charge and is administered in state medical institutions providing outpatient services at the place of residence or work of citizens,” the information states.
