US, UK, and 27 Other Countries Issue Statements Against Iran

Foreign ministers from 29 countries have accused Iran of provocations, cyberattacks, and other hybrid operations within their territories and those of partner states.

“Elchi” reports, citing the UK government, that the heads of the organization have issued a joint statement.

The statement was signed by Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the USA.

The ministers declared their acceptance of the UK’s findings regarding Iran’s involvement in the incident that occurred on September 27 at the Royal Air Force Fairford airbase in the UK.

“Individuals carrying out hostile activities in the interests of Iran or any other state will be identified and held accountable. Iran must not doubt our unity and determination to protect our sovereignty, strengthen international coordination and national resilience, ensure the safety of our citizens, and hold perpetrators accountable,” the ministers emphasized.

At the end of September, five people suspected of committing terrorist crimes in connection with an alleged assassination attempt near Ferford airbase were detained.
