Stockholm hosted a meeting between the delegation of “Sweden Students & Alumni Network Azerbaijan” (SSANA) and the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Sweden, Elnur Sultanov.
elchi reports that the meeting was attended by the embassy’s first secretary Asgar Naghiyev, SSANA co-founder Rahil Mammadov, and Chairman of the Advisory Board Narmin Abbasova.
During the meeting, detailed information was provided about the organization’s founding history, areas of activity, and future event plans. An exchange of views took place on strengthening SSANA’s activities in the academic, humanitarian, cultural, and educational fields, implementing new initiatives, and continuing cooperation with the embassy. Issues such as establishing relations with Karabakh University, increasing academic literacy, and supporting educational initiatives through book donations were also discussed. The creation of cooperation ties with universities in Sweden and the expansion of new academic exchange opportunities were also a focus.
In addition, discussions were held on implementing joint initiatives with the embassy in the field of climate action and promoting mutual experience exchange.
