Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov said:
-Dear Ilham Heydar oglu, Azerbaijan and the Chechen Republic are always united by many aspects. For me personally, this is the brotherly relationship between President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and the first President of Chechnya, Akhmad Kadyrov. May God have mercy on both of them. Both of them strived for peace, stability, and good neighborly relations, which is why I have come here not to visit neighbors, but brothers.
On behalf of myself and the entire Chechen people, I would like to once again express my deep condolences regarding the crash of the Baku-Grozny plane in December 2024. This is our common grief.
We sincerely share the grief of the brotherly Azerbaijani people and pray for the souls of all those who perished.
Dear Ilham Heydar oglu, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate your people on the resolution of the Karabakh issue. I am confident that peace and stability will always prevail in the region.
This week, the World Judo Championship is being held in Baku. I would like to congratulate your athletes on their deserved results. In the Chechen Republic, there is a Judo Olympic Training Center named after Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. I am confident that joint sports events will be beneficial.
Ilham Heydar oglu, thank you for the sincere reception. I wish the Azerbaijani people sincere peace, stability, security, and progress.
Thank you again for the sincere reception.

President Ilham Aliyev said:
-Thank you for your kind words. Welcome again. You rightly noted that our parents laid the foundation for modern relations between our peoples, although, as I said, Chechens and Azerbaijanis have always lived in friendship and understanding for centuries, supporting each other.
But our great leaders played a key role in bringing our peoples even closer in the modern stage of development. The commemoration of the memory of Akhmad Haji Kadyrov in Chechnya and Heydar Aliyev in Azerbaijan, as well as the respect of our peoples for their traditions, way of life, and those who laid the foundation for modern development, demonstrates this.
I congratulate you once again. Based on my observations, what I have seen, and the reports made to me, I know how rapidly the Chechen Republic is developing under your leadership. This sincerely pleases us. You have achieved great success in strengthening stability, security, and economic and social development.
This is not your first visit to Azerbaijan. I know that Azerbaijan is a close country for you. I am confident that we will be able to see you in Azerbaijan frequently in the future. Welcome again.
Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov: Thank you very much.
President Ilham Aliyev: Thank you.
