Prime Minister met with the Secretary General of the Digital Cooperation Organization

Today, the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, met with the Secretary General of the Digital Cooperation Organization, Dima Al-Yahya.

This was reported to elchi by the Cabinet of Ministers.

It was stated that at the meeting, the importance of Azerbaijan’s membership in the Digital Cooperation Organization for the implementation of the country’s digital transformation agenda and the expansion of international cooperation in this field was emphasized.

It was stated that digital transformation is one of the main priorities of the state policy in Azerbaijan, and consistent and systematic measures are being taken in this direction under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.

Information was provided on the work done in the areas of developing digital infrastructure, digitizing public services, and strengthening the artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and innovation ecosystem as a practical result of this policy.

At the meeting, the development prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Digital Cooperation Organization in areas of mutual interest were discussed, and the importance of exchanging experience and implementing joint initiatives in various directions was emphasized.

The Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rashad Nabiyev, participated in the meeting.
