Iran’s problem with the US is that when negotiations begin, Washington attacks the Islamic Republic.
According to “Elchi” citing ISNA, Iranian President Masoud Pezeşkian stated this during a meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
‘Our problem with the US is that every time we come to the negotiating table, we are immediately accused of war,’ the Iranian President stated, adding that it is meaningless to negotiate with Washington, which threatens the country with attacks and sanctions.
According to him, the US has attacked Iran three times during negotiations so far: ‘Their goal is to overthrow the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The US attack on Iran with the aim of overthrowing the regime has caused our people to become even more united, and God willing, we will overcome this stage with our heads held high.’
