Recently, an increase of 5-10 thousand manats has been observed in the prices of apartments in old five- and nine-story buildings in Baku.
“Elchi” reports, citing “ATV News”, that while a 30-square-meter one-room apartment in a five-story building was offered for 107 thousand manats in August, prices now range between 110-120 thousand manats. The price of a 37-square-meter apartment in a nine-story building has risen from 135 thousand to 140 thousand manats.
Experts state that the influx of students and residents from other regions to Baku in September has increased the demand for apartments. There is particularly high demand for one- and two-room apartments in old buildings located near metro stations and public transport.
It was noted that as a result of the increasing demand, prices in the housing market have risen by approximately 5 percent.
