“Starting from August 2025, the visit of the US Vice President, the first economic dialogue we held, and all subsequent mutual contacts clearly demonstrate that the US is now prioritizing the South Caucasus region. For those following the news, I should mention that a major event dedicated to TRIPP was held in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. The importance of the South Caucasus was once again emphasized at this event. President Trump also noted in his speech that personally witnessing the agreement reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia last August was one of the achievements he is proud of,” Amy Carlon pointed out.
She stated that the South Caucasus is a new priority direction for the US government: “Because we see that the South Caucasus region has great potential in the Trans-Caspian trade corridor. Frankly, there are great opportunities here for US business as well, and potential for shared prosperity.
