During his meeting with participants of international conferences held in Baku, President Ilham Aliyev spoke about Armenia’s destructive attitude towards mosques during the occupation.
“Elchi” reports that emphasizing that 65 mosques were completely destroyed by the Armenian state, and some were left in a semi-destroyed state, the head of our state said:
“You have probably seen those photos; Armenia deliberately and intentionally kept animals in mosques, kept pigs, kept cows. That is, to insult us, to humiliate us, and understanding our sensitivity, they did not shy away from such barbaric acts just to hurt our people even more. In fact, this was an insult not only to us and our people, but to the entire Islamic world. This is the true face of the Armenian state. We must never forget this, and we will not forget it.”
