A meeting of the Trade Union Committee of the Ministry of Finance was held.

According to the information, Khaliq Rahmanov, Head of the Ministry’s Office, and Hikmat Nabiyev, Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan, spoke at the meeting and highly appreciated the activities of the Trade Union Committee.
It was noted that the Committee has implemented consistent measures to protect labor rights and legal interests, create a healthy and favorable work environment within the collective, support the social welfare and effective organization of leisure time for employees, as well as provide them with vouchers to sanatoriums and recreation centers.
Subsequently, organizational issues were reviewed, and in accordance with the charter rules, the new compositions of the Trade Union Committee and the Audit Commission were formed through an open vote. At the same time, a decision was made to organize the Committee’s activities on a voluntary basis from now on.
Based on the voting results, the new staff of the Trade Union Committee was approved as 11 members, and the composition of the Audit Commission as 3 members. Bahruz Mammadov, Head of the Finance and Supply Department of the Ministry, was elected as the new chairman of the Ministry of Finance Trade Union Committee on a voluntary basis.
In the end, the former chairman of the Committee, Eldar Mahmudov, was awarded the Honorary Decree of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan for his long-term and effective services in trade union activities.
