The “Yashil Teatr” Baku Concert Complex and the Baku City Municipal Theater, which were under the jurisdiction of the Head of the Baku City Executive Power, have been transferred along with all their assets to the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
“Elchi” reports that the Cabinet of Ministers has made a decision regarding this matter.
The Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Culture, and the Baku City Executive Power must resolve the issues arising from this decision in the manner prescribed by legislation.
It should be noted that the Cabinet of Ministers made this decision to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 683 dated June 10, 2026, “On improving the structure and management of the Baku City Executive Power.” The Cabinet of Ministers was required to ensure the transfer of the “Yashil Teatr” Baku Concert Complex and the Baku City Municipal Theater, which were under the jurisdiction of the Head of the Baku City Executive Power, along with all their assets, to the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
