The US Department of the Navy has reported that Iran has caused serious damage to US military facilities in Bahrain.

“Elchi” reports that this was stated on the “X” social network by “The Epoch Times” reporter Ryan Morgan, citing a statement by acting US Secretary of the Navy Hang Kao.

It is noted that the headquarters of the US Navy’s 5th Fleet is located in Bahrain. Its area of operational responsibility includes the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea, and parts of the Indian Ocean. Kao stated that Iran has “completely devastated Bahrain.”

In addition, he confirmed that as a result of these strikes, there is no “berthing space” left in Bahrain for the aircraft carrier “Abraham Lincoln.”

Earlier, the “MS Now” TV channel reported that the long-term deployment of the aircraft carrier has led to problems with equipment, including equipment intended for the takeoff and landing of aircraft.

Hang Kao also clarified that the US Navy is discussing whether it will restore the destroyed bases in Bahrain at all.
