Today, the selection of subsidized apartments in residential complexes built by the State Housing Development Agency (MIDA) in the cities of Lankaran, Shirvan, and Yevlakh was carried out.
In total, the selection process for acquiring 535 apartments, both through mortgage loans and personal funds, took place in accordance with established rules. The process was monitored from an operational headquarters established at the MIDA administrative building.
Although MIDA’s electronic sales system has faced cyber interference attempts at various times, the last two selection processes have taken place without any external interference.
Jamshid Amirov, Head of the MIDA Staff, stated to journalists that security measures have been significantly strengthened during the recent selections.
“The main goal of the innovations applied in the system and the security measures taken by us is to create equal selection conditions for every citizen, to ensure transparency and efficiency, as well as to ensure that the selection process is conducted in a completely secure format,” he said.
The participation of several government agencies in today’s selection process shows that the control over electronic apartment selection has become multi-layered.
The involvement of the State Security Service (SSS), the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security, the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, “AzInTelecom” LLC, as well as media representatives, serves to assess potential risks from various directions and increase the transparency of the process.
Protecting the electronic selection process is not limited to increasing technical capabilities. The main issue here is ensuring that every citizen enters the selection process under the same conditions and that the apartment selection is protected from external interference.
