The Iranian ambassador to the Czech Republic has been summoned to the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs due to threats made by Tehran against “Radio Farda”, which broadcasts from Prague.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated by the “ČTK” news agency, citing Czech Foreign Minister Petr Mašinka.
On August 26, it became known that Iran had included several media outlets operating outside the country and broadcasting in Persian, including “Radio Farda”, in its list of military targets. The radio station operates under the management of the American media holding “Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty”, which is headquartered in Prague.
The agency noted that Czech special services and police are analyzing the threats directed at “Radio Farda”.
