The Indian ship “Faize Noore Oliya” has sunk in the Red Sea off the western coast of Yemen following an attack by a boat laden with explosives.
“Elchi” reports that this information was provided by the “Anadolu” agency, citing the Yemeni National Resistance Forces.
It is noted that all 14 crew members have been rescued.
According to the “December 2” agency, the ship, which was attacked approximately 13 nautical miles south of the city of Al-Hudaydah, was damaged and subsequently sank.
The perpetrators responsible for the attack have not yet been identified.
It is reported that as a result of a joint operation conducted by the Yemeni Naval Forces and the Coast Guard, all crew members, including 13 Indian citizens and 1 Yemeni citizen, were rescued. There are no casualties.
